Spartan Assault is a top-down shooter where players control a squad of SPARTAN-IV commandos, using a variety of Halo weaponry to battle the Covenant across numerous levels. The game will be based on touch screen controls on most Windows devices, but will feature Xbox 360 controller support sometime post-launch.
The events of Spartan Assault take place in-between the events of Halo 3 and Halo 4, starring SPARTAN-IV Sarah Palmer, chronicling her battle against a Covenant Splinter faction on an unknown alien planet.
