Mortal Kombat: Komplete Edition, informally called Mortal Kombat 9: Komplete Edition or simply Komplete Edition, is a re-release of Mortal Kombat (2011 Game) with all the original game's DLC, including four new characters, over 15 new skins, and retro fatalities. The game was developed by NetherRealm Studios, and published by Warner Bros. Interactive, and released for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 on February 28, 2012.

A port of Komplete Edition was later announced the Playstation Vita, with additional skins, game modes and a new challenge tower exclusive to the handheld version of the game. While the visuals of the Vita port received a major downgrade, the sacrifices allowed the game to largely maintain the original's framerate of 60fps. The Vita port was released on May 1st, 2012.

Finally, a PC port of the game was released on July 3, 2013, after a significant campaign from NetherRealm to gauge interest in the PC as a viable release platform. Despite teasing that a Mac release would be likely, the game was only made available for Windows platforms via Steam and through a limited physical release.
